Question 1: What is 4word?

What came first, 4word or the egg?

In our case, it was the egg.

Seated at one of our most frequented walking-distance restaurants in LA, 4 of us got to talking. There was a twentysomething entrepreneur prodigy, a YouTube star, and Mariah Carey’s future gay son. Oh, and me. The social entrepreneur who seems to enjoy cheese and bossing people around.

So, the egg. Or, eggs.

“Breakfast is the best meal of the day.”

“Yeah.”

“Yeah.”

“It’s alright.”

“How do you guys like your eggs?”

And, I’m not kidding you, in one breath,

“Benedict.”

“Scrambled.”

“Over-easy. With cheese. Or ketchup.”

“I don’t really like eggs.”

We burst out laughing. Then, we said we should start share a blog. Tackling our individual and our collective.

4word aims to do just that. Provide a forum for us, as individuals, to share our own personal thoughts, and celebrate and appreciate each other’s opinions. And, together, unify the world and blur the lines of difference. And some people find us funny. Collectively. Individually, depends on who it is. Just kidding.

We’re starting with “What is 4word?” We may get to “Would you rather?” We’ll end up somewhere between dreaming up world domination and who to invite to dinner (dead or alive).

But one thing is for sure. 4word is going somewhere. Everywhere, one of us would chime in.

But it all started, with the egg.
